Donations from family to pay for DNA research to find the biological parents of DeForest Addison Lake. The funds will be used to pay Trace.com for DNA analysis and fund Genealogy website membership for the family.
DeForest Addison Lake searched for his entire life to find the identity of his biological parents. He never found them. However, he suspected his mother was a highly respected woman from his hometown, Randolph, NY. Despite documents from DeForest's orphanage stating that his parents were Madaline Johnson and Otto Smith of Warren County, Pennsylvania, only now may DNA evidence be able to determine if DeForest is a Johnson and Smith or a Lee and Merrill. Your financial donation will be used to pay the DNA experts at Trace.com to analyze Lake family DNA and determine the lineage of DeForest Addison Lake. The total cost is estimated to be about $1,700 - $2,000. Some of the funds may be used to install more of DeForest's grandchildren into genealogy websites where DNA analysis can be performed.
