funds will be used to pay health ins premiums, cost for travel to MUSC Pancreas Center for surgeries needed to resolve some of my prior surgery complications.I would love to go back to work and it's going to take some hard work and medical procedures for that to happen. I never knew that you could exhaust your financial reserves with a catastrophic illness. That's what health insurance is for. Many things are not covered and doctors do consults for out of network providers. If you are unconscious you can't question what's happening. I regret that i joked to my friends that the team asked me to raise funds before my surgery in 1/2018! It's not funny at all once you realize that Disability insurance will not cover the added expenses of insurance premiums, medicines that are not covered but needed, a shot that cost 4000 copay, and other needs.
