I am Declan Collins. I am currently working on a project that will benefit our community. As my Eagle Project, I have chosen to construct bookshelves that will contain the historical records and documents of current and past residents of La Grange and the surrounding communities.
These shelves will be located at the La Grange Historical Society, located in the Vial House in La Grange, Illinois. I will be using wood and a water-based polyurethane approved for the storage of historical records. These shelves will allow the Historical Society to preserve important books and documents for years to come. The shelves will also help to utilize space and improve room aesthetics.
