**Urgent Help Needed for Ukrainian Refugee Family**

In 2020, my son was born. I did not give birth to him, an amazing woman named Daria stepped in to be his surrogate mother. She lives in Kyiv. She and her mother, her son (6), and a female friend with a 3 year old are trying to get out of the city. The trains going toward Poland are packed and difficult to secure a seat. We hope we have gotten them a seat on a bus going to Romania.

This is my plea. They need money. They weren’t prepared financially for her husband to have no job. The money she earned from surrogacy went toward buying an apartment. Now she is looking at rebuilding her life in Romania, or who knows where. Her husband will be staying in Kyiv to fight. It’s just the women and children on their own.

Those of you who know me, know that I have been helping the surrogacy community in Ukraine for days distributing information and finding help for refugees. These people are my family and I need to help them now. I know we all follow the news and there are many disaster relief funds, but Daria performed a selfless act for my family (almost) two years ago and she deserves some help now in this time of need.
