I am raising money to get roughly 500 service and calibration manuals for CRTs. These are primarily Sony with some Toshiba and Panasonic. All manuals will be made publicly available for free to all.

Did you know there are countless thousands of CRT repair manuals of historical and personal importance that exist on fiche and are not scanned. Some of these manuals exist scanned behind paywalls for >$10 each! It is a travesty to hobbyist all around who want to keep this important piece of A/V history alive, the CRT.
My goal is to release all scanned manuals to everyone for free and give them a permanent home on the internet.
Who am I? A CRT repair hobbyist and information preservationist. By trade I am a software engineer imbued with with the free and open source ideology.
