ABOUT DR. DAVIDSON: On January 20, Dr. Michael Davidson died suddenly and tragically at the age of 44. Dr. Davidson, then Director of Endovascular Cardiac Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, was more than a wonderful and inspiring surgeon. He was a community member, husband, father and dear friend to many. He is remembered for his devotion to improving the quality of life for his patients, his enthusiasm for learning, his passion for running, and his warm spirit.

ABOUT THE EVENT: The CRF 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser in honor of Dr. Michael Davidson will help us to celebrate Dr. Davidson’s life in a way he would have appreciated – running with friends and colleagues on a lovely waterfront course. We encourage everyone who knew Dr. Davidson or who has been moved by his story to join us for the race and/or support the event with a donation. All proceeds will support an educational fund established to benefit Dr. Davidson’s four children.
