This project is a collaboration between The People's Cauldron and the Church of Deep Ecology. As Earth based spiritual organizations with shared values, we are working together to obtain land for a joint sanctuary space.

We found 3 acres of beautiful land and need funds to make a down payment.
Our goal is to create a longterm sanctuary space for reconnecting with the land through ritual practice and ecological literacy. We will provide a place for worship and ceremony out in the forests, fields and wetlands. There is a small structure that will house our community library of herbal reference, nature spirituality, field guides, zines, and related texts.
The structure will also serve as a space for other forms of worship such as processing wildcrafted plants and fungi into medicinal preparations, creating an outpost for ecological immersion , as well as hosting workshops and ceremonies.

We signed a month to month lease last night to secure the land until we have funds for a down payment. Now we can get started working on the structure to build our community library and continue to explore the land and get to know our human and nonhuman neighbors, start to wild craft and plant herbs, and scout out locations for mushroom logs, and other fun projects. The potential of this is great!
