More Info

I am a full time college student who is in her final year , obtaining my BSA in Graphic Design. I hold a 3.9 GPA. This past year or two has taken a toll on so many of us including myself and my family. I quit my job in 2019 to move home when we almost lost my father to sepsis and complications. I've worked as an independent contractor since then. This allows me to be flexible with work and school. During that time it kept me close to my family to help them. My brother moved my parents to Florida at the end of last year to take care of them financially and physically until the time comes. I later moved to Florida to be close as my Dad is much older. I had stayed behind to help clean up and pack their home for sale. They have yet to sell it. During this time I have lost both vehicles to engine issues leaving me without transportation, therefore leaving me without a way to work. Where I live, there is not much close to me in distance, with somewhat unsafe neighborhoods, and public transportation is not reliable. I do have a bike but I myself have health issues and with rain and heat, I cannot travel far, limiting my ability to get a job outside the home. I have had no luck obtaining a work at home position either.. I have not seen my parents since I moved to Florida, When I first moved here with my son we lost almost 5,000 to a rental company and the subsequently staying in. motels until I could find another place. I did after a month and had to put another. 3,000 down to get into this. I have been living off of saved money, sales of stuff I own and a little bit of stimulus money. The one thing I want more than anything is just to continue working as a 'gig' worker/sole proprietor, which I did ok on financially. This allows me to concentrate on school so I can achieve my lifelong goal of becoming a graphic designer. I'm almost 44 and it is always been my dream. Anything will help me to put a deposit down or to help me get a vehicle. So my future and my children's future are better, and I can see my parents again soon. Thank you.
