I've opened the campaign back up because Fundly is taking $500 as their fee, and the court filing fee is an extra $324. Thank you to all who donated!
The purpose of this group is to find out if there are any CPS parents who would like to join the lawsuit against CPS and Governor Pritzker to fight the mask mandate. If you would like to make masks optional, Attorney Thomas DeVore is going to consolidate all parents across the state of Illinois in this lawsuit. The flat retainer fee is $5,000 per district. 8 families, including mine, have already agreed to be listed on the lawsuit, which is the requirement per district. I will fill out the application to have Attorney DeVore represent our group. We are hard pressed for time, as his deadline is Wednesday. Please let me know ASAP if you're interested.
