About
COVID-19 (aka Corona) has turned this world into a very bleak place. While first world countries have great social services in place to help their citizens, third-world countries like Pakistan rely on Good Samaritans like you to lend a hand and offer support to those who are struggling.
With the corona pandemic, Ramadan will be very different for us this year. There will be no Taraweeh prayers, no Suhoor/Iftaar get-togethers, no congregations in mosques. Many might feel that the spirit of Ramadan has become dampened because of these vital traditions gone, but believe you me, it will be anything but! We can still revive our spirit in numerous ways! May it be through silent tears shed while praying in the middle of the night or going above and beyond in charity to help families in Pakistan who took a hard hit because of the Corona lockdown.
That's why, this Ramadan I've aimed to help at least 100 families who have lost their jobs because of the lockdown, by providing them with basic grocery items so that making and breaking their fasts in the month of Ramadan is one less thing they'll have to worry about! This includes daily wagers, laborers, the house help who were asked not to come to work, and many others. So please help me achieve my goal of doing my part as a responsible citizen!
Help me:
- Feed one person for one month -- $15 - Feed one couple for one month -- $30 - Feed one family of 4 for one month -- $60 - Feed one family of 6 for one month -- $90 - Feed one family of 8 for one month -- $120
