Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area Inc.(CCCS) hosts the second non-event called "The Couch Potato Gala". This non-event presents a unique opportunity for philanthropists who understand the importance of our work in the community, but do not wish to attend a large and expensive gala.
The Couch Potato Gala will be a three-month online fundraising campaign and celebration of the community contributions of CCCS. In 2020 alone, CCCS repaid $ $1,867,550 of debt, provided financial education for 2,638 participants and provided financial counseling for 1,231 families. A contribution to The Couch Potato Gala will help CCCS with its proven efforts to provide Savannah residents with the tools to achieve economic independence.
