Very Important Purpose (a non-profit organization) was opened in February of 2018 to impact the lives of teenagers and allow them to open their eyes to the less fortunate world in our society. Since our opening, we have lent our services to the Ronald McDonald House, A Sweet Chance, Miami Rescue Mission, La Ventana de Los Cielos, Camillus House, Animal Shelters, and so many more organizations in our community.
-Teens who participate will be able to serve their community in various ways throughout the week. Each teen will receive UP TO 100 hours of community service at the end of their stay. -The teens will learn teamwork, communication skills, and leadership skills. -They will gain an appreciation for their everyday life while working and helping local organizations. -They will participate in daily forums with guests that will encourage them to love themselves and others. -They will have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as soccer, volleyball, Zumba, yoga, etc. -They will be able to cook, bake, and participate in everyday routines. -Throughout the week, students will work with different organizations like Gigis Play House Miami, The Ronald McDonald House Charity, Miami Rescue Mission, Title 1 Migrant Program, Foster Care Systems, Humane Society of Greater Miami, a Beach Clean-up, and more.
-The campsite we are staying at is a foundation on its own, where the camper will be working on designated projects throughout the week.
