Colin has been nominated by his band director for the Honor Performance Series, a very selective band that includes highly talented kids from all over the country to perform at Carnegie Hall under master conductors.
As y’all know, Colin has been playing the saxophone since 6th grade. He’s now in 8th grade and sits 1st chair and is raked 2-4th weekly out of the entire band (68 kids). He is incredibly talented and has a passion for playing.
His band director nominated him for the Honors Performance Series, which is a very selective band chosen to showcase these highly talented performers by allowing them to study under master conductors and perform on stage at one of the world’s most famous concert halls - Carnegie Hall in NYC this summer.
It would be such an honor for him to be able to participate in this, but, it is definitely NOT a cheap endeavor. Colin is planning on fundraising as much as possible to help offset the cost and ANY donation, large or small is greatly appreciated.
If you can give anything at all, Colin will be ever grateful! All funds will be used for the program, airline tickets, food, and extra misc. items during his time in NYC for the program. Thank you for your consideration!
