I like to get an early start to things! While the 24/24 challenge won't be held til May 2015, it's never too early kick things off and help the kids at Levine!

More Info

As the Store Manager of a Rite Aid Pharmacy in Matthews, NC I feel it is important to give back to the community. Rite Aid shares this belief and raising money for the Children's Miracle Network is one of our biggest company-wide events.

I want to raise the bar this year and raise more money than any other store in my district (it's a friendly competition, I promise!) All proceeds go to the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte.

With the media seemingly reporting all the negative aspects of our community, I've made it my personal goal to try to change that. I personally believe that for every negative story reported, there are at least 50 (maybe more!) good, positive--life changing stories-- that you don't hear about.

There are a lot of great people out there and it's their time to shine. Let's show the community the good it can do and continues to do everyday!

My goal to kick off our CMN campaign at Rite Aid is to climb on the roof of my store located at 630 Matthews Township Parkway in Matthews, NC.  I will stay on the roof for 24 hours straight. No water, no food, no facilities or amenities. (except for my phone so I may tweet and share with the community the progress.)

I've set the bar high. 24 hours, $2,400. It's called the 24/24 campaign. I won't come down until we raise $2,400 for CMN!

Donations will be accepted on-site as well as online. All donations made online will be handled by myself and then given directly towards Rite Aid's CMN campaign. I want to make it as transparent as possible and believe me, every donation is one step closer to the goal. Be advised that fundraising online isn't free. Fundly does charge a transaction fee deducted from your donation.

I want this campaign to be as successful as possible, raising as much money for CMN as my team can. Our best bet at success is showing up in person and donating. I understand this isn't practical for all individuals which is why we are also launching the online campaign along side our on-site campaign.

$2,400 in 24 hours. It can be done! Imagine if everyone passing by made a loop through the parking lot and simply donated $1. If your not from the area or can't make it by and believe that your contribution can make a difference (it does!) donate online.

My generous volunteers and I will be updating the amount raised at the top of every hour via twitter, facebook, etc. This includes on-site and online donations.

More information will be coming as the date for the official event has not been set. Fundly will be the main site for online donations. Fundraising updates will be available here and on-site donations will be added to the Fundly total hourly.

Donations can be made starting now if you'd like. The main fundraising push will be during the 24 hour roof campaign, but it's never too early to start helping!

Here's to hoping for good weather and helping the kids in Charlotte!
