One Taft - Stronger Together.

The Cleveland Office is collecting funds for the Karamu House (https://karamuhouse.org).  Founded in 1915, Karamu House is a place of joyful gathering (the meaning of ‘Karamu” in Swahili), where people from different races, religions, and economic backgrounds come together through the arts. Recognized as the oldest, producing African American theatre in the nation, Karamu House is continually cited as one of Cleveland’s top four treasures—and featured in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture and listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Karamu House stands tall in our nation’s history as an inclusive institution that served as a common ground for Clevelanders of different races, religions, and social and economic backgrounds, as well as a trusted community resource for local families.

This campaign is sponsored in partnership with Taft and i.WILL, a professional women's network founded by our CIO, Andrea Markstrom.  All donations will be going to the designated non-profit organization selected by each of the Taft offices.  i.WILL is only the administrator of the site.  You will receive a tax deductible notice for your donation from the non-profit organization.  The tax deduction notice will include your donation, minus the processing fees from Fundly.com.
