With Christmas just around the corner, families on both sides of the US-Mexico border are finding themselves in increasingly dire situations. Thousands are stuck in shelters that aren’t able to meet their basic needs, including food and heat; and what’s worse, they are surrounded by dangerous cartels (gangs) who prey on the most vulnerable among us for profit.

We hope to offer them some help and compassion in the form of food, light jackets and shoes to ease their burdens as they weather this crisis.  We have partnered with two Pastors who are working on the front lines at the border, Pastor Mike, who runs the Holding Institute, a shelter in Laredo TX - and Pastor Ortiz, who runs a La Casa del Migrante Amar, a shelter in Nuevo Laredo Mexico (just across the border from Laredo). They will use every dollar to purchase these items at the lowest possible cost, then distribute them directly to the refugees who need it most.

On behalf of the refugees whose lives and hearts you will touch, we thank you with great enthusiasm for your kind and generous offering.
