Our little Wink is 10 weeks and needs to have her eye removed. Due to the owner not having any money to get her vetted when the eye was hurt she is now going to have it removed.
Wink is from Georgia, one of 7 to a litter. Backstory, a friend of RDR volunteer went to the residents to shut off their gas and saw the puppies were in poor condition. He went back a week later to restore service after owners paid their bill and the puppies were still there looking really bad. He took one of the puppies home and took it to the vet, it was loaded with parasites. He reached out to RDR to for help with rescuing the remaining pups. The owners had already given away 2 of the puppies! Sadly our little one with the bad eye had been neglected far too long and the eye is not able to be saved anymore.
We need to raise some money to cover this bill for Wink. She deserves the best and we are going to make sure she gets it!
