Thank you for taking the time to read about the next phase of my life.  Recently, I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with an emphasis in Graphic Design. I loved my time at Ole Miss, where I was involved in Reformed University Fellowship, Chi Omega and the Student Activities Association.

After careful consideration and much prayer, I have decided to enroll in the Charlotte Fellows Program, a nine-month Christian leadership program that equips college grads to live out their faith in every area of life. This program is a part of a larger network of programs called the Fellows Initiative, which leads young Christians to walk into their next phase of life with purpose and direction.

In this program, I will work in a corporate environment in a part-time internship, serve in the local church, take seminary classes from Charlotte Theological Seminary, and live with a host family. I’m looking most forward to living and serving with other members of the class, and growing and learning in community with Christ followers in my same phase of life.

This program presents an opportunity to study, serve and work to engage my faith and the workplace. I pray it will provide clarity, and confidence as I integrate my faith, my ministry and my work.  I have seen graduates of this program go out into the world with clarity, stability and confidence in how their faith plays out in a secular work environment. Personally, I pray the Lord will guide me in deciding between  a career in full time ministry or in marketing.

I am so excited to move to Charlotte, and to see what Jesus has in store for me. The reason I wanted to share this step with you is because you are such a dear person to me, and I wanted to invite you to prayerfully enter this next step with me.

To participate in the program, I  need to raise $6000 in tuition and support. As you might already know about me, I love to have control over every aspect of my life.  One challenge I face relates to my inability to control the next nine months. I get to choose my host family, internship, fellows class or mentors. Not being able to write a $6000 check, and having to rely on the provision of the Lord is another piece of control  in which I am learning to trust in Him.

That being said, I am asking that you consider joining me this year either financially, prayerfully, or both.  Any monetary amount will bless me beyond words and will assist me as I work towards this goal. One time or monthly gifts of $50, $100 or $200 would be profoundly appreciated, but even more so, I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers as I move to a brand new city.

As I continue to prepare for the year ahead, and establishing a life in a new city, I can’t help but be reminded of one of my favorite verses from John.

“I have come that you might have life and have it abundantly” John 10:10

Please join me in prayer for the abundant experience that awaits in Charlotte, and for the ministry that I will engage in there. Thank you for the role you have played in my life thus far. Your name came to mind as I reflect upon the treasured relationships the Lord has brought into my life. I am hopeful that we will get to see each other soon. If you have any questions for me about this program, or just want to chat and catch up, please feel free to call me at 615-788-4667.
