Update #5

Hello to all the friends and supporters of our Supporting our Seniors - DHS Class of 2021 Group-

With 8 days left in our campaign (and this year) we can say that we are only a few donors away from our ultimate goal of 20K!

A HUGE thank you to everyone that got us to this place. Last week we were able to provide and deliver care packages to a majority of the Davis High Seniors. Inside the care package they found flannel pajama bottoms, a lawn sign, a window cling and a few other fun items.

The smiles that day were priceless and it has been really wonderful to see kids in their DHS Senior PJ's all over town, and lawns and cars proudly displaying their Class of 2021 bling. While this may seem like a small gesture - it is really so much more than the items in the bag. For some, it was their first time really feeling like it is Senior year.

To say it takes a village is to put it most simply. But it is also so very true. It is the combination of 189 individual efforts that have brought us to this success - and allowed us to bring a little light into the lives and hearts of the DHS Class of 2021.

Happy Holidays to you all.

More Info

Dear Parents, Family, and Friends of the Davis Senior High School Class of 2021,

We all realize that senior year for the Class of 2021 has been disappointing. Our kids have missed out on many cherished DSHS traditions this semester: Senior Sunrise, Homecoming, Friday football games, Winter Ball, and of course the daily interactions of friends and peers in hallways and classrooms.

As friends and family of the Davis Senior High School Class of 2021, we are working on some things to recognize our seniors. We are looking into some fun, physically-distanced activities, and would like to put together some “care packages” for every senior prior to Q2 finals (mugs, lawn signs, and pajama bottoms are just a few ideas being considered). To do this we need your help.

We are asking every family that can, to please join our fundraiser and donate $100 (or more) towards the senior care packages and other events. Of course, any amount is appreciated. We want to make sure that every senior is included in our plans. There are 594 DSHS Seniors in the Class of 2021!

We are all hopeful that spring events, including Senior Ball, Graduation and Grad Night, will be held in person in some way. When those events occur, separate tickets will be sold. If there is any money leftover from this fundraising effort at that time, the extra funds will be donated towards reducing the costs of those events in some way.

Sincerely,

Raychel Kubby Adler (530-219-5986 or raychel@yolowellness.com)

Update #4

With 90 donors so far that means that 15% of our Senior class has gotten us to more than 75% of our financial goal! Thank you to all that made this happen.

We only need a few more of you to help us get there in the three days we have left in this campaign.

If you've already supported, great thanks! Now, remind your friends, family, and 2021 Senior supporters.
