I was able to get a donor from someone who chooses to remain anonymous. Sadly, though, we are facing foreclosure and the cost to prevent foreclosure is now more than $10,000 with the legal fees the mortgage company is charging. We did catch up with our car payments. Happy to report that!

I would first like to thank you for even considering helping me financially. I am reaching out for help because I fear that we won’t be able to make ends meet and that we will lose our house and our car. My husband and I make enough money between the two of us to pay our current bills, if we were current. That is the most frustrating part. Our life hasn’t been easy, but we finally make enough money to cover normal bills. However, before this point, in the past two years my husband broke his foot, I was hospitalized twice, and one of our children was hospitalized. We have three children in the home and two in college. As a result of my husband’s injury and the hospitalizations, we needed to borrow money to pay bills and even buy food and pay utilities. We got behind on the mortgage, our car payment, and our car insurance. So we borrowed money from my parents. They were even kind enough to allow us to use their credit cards. We received blessings in other ways. There are a couple places in our area that give out food each week and each month. That really helps get us by sometimes. My daughter does martial arts and even her martial arts school allowed us to miss payments for about a year now.

However, my parents have cut us off from their credit cards because we haven’t been able to make the payments each month. Each month we have to decide between what bills we can pay and what we can put off. We are so far behind and now it’s time to pay up. The whole ordeal worries me to the point that some days I wonder if we can even feed our children or be able to get our children home from college as they go to schools out of state. We tried picking up extra hours at work and even tried to both work a second job, but it isn’t enough. Anything you could do to help would be greatly appreciated. You can donate to a specific thing – mortgage, martial arts debt, debt to my parents, debt to my parents’ credit cards, car payment, or car insurance. Thank you so much for anything you can give. Thank you so much for even reading this. I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration to alleviate our plight.

I included pictures of my mortgage and car payment bills.

Here is what we’re facing:

Mortgage: $3438.93

Car Payment: $879.20

Car Insurance: $657

Debt to my parents: $5600

Debt to my parents’ credit cards: $9656

Martial Arts: $4703.72
