My cousin Amanda has been struggling and staying strong for years. She has battled addiction and is still fighting strong. She has been clean from heroin for almost ten years. She is a single mom to two sweet boys, one of them she almost lost a couple of years ago. Luckily he was able to get a liver transplant, he is doing better than he was but he still has lots of follow up appointments to get to. They had their car stolen in August 2020. The police found it a month later but now it is unable to drive. The thief blew the head gasket by driving while the car was overheating. It was a very selfish thing to do. She is struggling to get to and from places and due to covid and her sons weakened immune system it is almost impossible for them to get by without a car. I want to help her because they have been going through so much the past few years and things just need to improve. I hope that fixing up her car or replacing the old one can give them hope for brighter days.
