We are a family of 5. From August - it will be a 6-person family.

We came to the United States at the end of January 2022. Our goal was to show children a new country and culture. But the most important goal was education. My wife enrolled in an interior designer program at the College of DuPage. Our son started high school and our daughters started elementary school.

The beginnings were difficult. My wife, while pregnant, had heavy bleeding from the first day after our arrival. We had to go to the hospital immediately. The bleeding did not stop and was associated with an internal hematoma. Bleeding continued for a few more weeks. At that time, we were buying furniture and we decorated our empty house. Most importantly, my wife was attending college classes at the time. We were strongly motivated.

Unfortunately, at the beginning of June, we had a serious car accident. The perpetrator of the accident ran a red light and completely destroyed our car and our plans. The camera and witnesses documented everything. We have a police report. However, the matter is complicated. The perpetrator of the accident does not have valid insurance and our Canadian coverage does not apply here. We are left with the legal path and trials with the perpetrator of the accident.

Our car is for scrapping. It was only 2-3 feet away and it could lead to a real tragedy.

Our several months of efforts (my wife has all A grades, just like my son) and dedication can be completely wasted. Everything can end with an accident. We do not have a car, which is necessary here. We have a big dreams and we have also last three months of pregnancy, three lovely kids and looks like we need to resign from all our plans due to car accident. We have no rights to work and our situation seems hopeless as we are on student visa program.

We believe my wife can continue her education. We count on any help that will allow us to stay and avoid to take our children from school.

Every little helps!

Thank you!
