About CANstruction
CANstruction is a unique charity which hosts competitions, exhibitions and events showcasing colossal structures made entirely out of full cans of food. After the structures are built, the cansculptures go on display to the public as a giant art exhibition. At the end of the event, all food is donated to local hunger relief organizations.
Recognized for their commitment to innovation, hunger relief and collaboration, they have helped raise over 25 million pounds of food since 1992. CANstruction events are held annually in over 150 cities around the world.
The CANstruction Philadelphia entries will be on display in the Shops at Liberty Place from April 18-26, 2015.

The JacobsWyper CANstruction team is asking for your help to raise money for the cans necessary to construct a replica of a vintage SEPTA trolley car. We are still in the process of designing our entry, but an update will be provided once that is finished!
We need to act fast, as our collection deadline is April 10th!
After the exhibition and judging, the cans will be donated to Philabundance, Philadelphia’s local food bank which distributes to emergency feeding programs benefiting local soup kitchens, as well as elderly and daycare centers in our community. Also remember that all donations are tax-deductible.
