Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends. A holiday filled with happiness, thankfulness and life. Little did I know I was going to receive a call Thanksgiving of 2015, expressing that I had Primary Peritoneal cancer, a rare form of cancer in the lower abdomen. My happy holiday mood had shifted and I did not feel so thankful any longer. I have been fighting the cancer while watching the bills pile up. I am fighting for my life not because I fear death but because I love my life. I am asking for donations of any amount to help prolong my life, so I can be the best grandmother and mother to my family I would be leaving behind.
