The Campaign to End Aversives is a grassroots effort to put a stop to the brutal practice of administering painful electric shocks to disabled children and adults in Massachusetts.
For decades, organizations for people with disabilities, government agencies, and people of conscience have been trying to stop the cruel and inhumane practices occurring at a school in Massachusetts, where disabled children and adults are subjected to painful electric shocks in order to change their behavior. The Campaign to End Aversives has proposed a ballot question for the 2018 election that will end these evil activities once and for all. The money raised will go toward the signature-gathering effort, which is expected to cost in excess of $300,000 if it is to be successful. Any funds not expended in the signature gathering effort will be used for advertising once the initiative is approved for inclusion on the ballot.
