Calling All Skaters

Hello there! First off I would just like to thank you for allowing me to share this letter with you. I am excited to share with you what God has been doing in my life. Just to give you a glimpse of what has been going on. I have been working as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor for three years now and I am currently involved with an organization called Calling All Skaters, through Youth With A Mission. I believed that God has called me here to spread the word through the skateboarding industry. God has shown me that He loves skateboarders, and through us we can truly change lives. I recently spent two weeks in Los Angeles with the Calling All Skaters group. We spent our time skateboarding, and sharing the love of Jesus to anybody that would listen. This was also the time that I fully committed my life to Jesus Christ, on July 20th, 2013. I also witnessed three people accept Christ into their lives! 

I feel a calling from the Lord to do a DTS (discipleship training school) this fall, 2013. We will be spending three months in Los Angeles, then three months over seas whether that be Chile or China. There, we will be doing the Lord’s work. Meaning, serving and sharing the word of Him. We will be going out every day and night, spreading The Word to many individuals. We at Calling All Skaters, believe that the Lord has called us to use skateboarding as a tool to bring people into a relationship with Him. That is exactly what we are going to do. 

The cost for this trip is around $7,000, because of Airfare, Food, and Hotels (we will be traveling to many different areas of the country that the Lord chooses for us).
