Hello All,

Hope you all are having a good summer. It's been 9-months since the Camp fire which was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history. Our small campaign to help families impacted by this deadly fire has come to an end and we hope there are no more such fires.

With all your kind support and love we were able to raise over $36,000 and helped 18 families. Some humbling statistics of the families we helped:
90% of these families had no insurance and the remaining had limited insurance
89% families were with kids
86% families had dependent seniors at home
71% families had their income impacted due to the fires
It been a heart-breaking experience meeting these families and knowing their losses and hardships. However, it’s also been humbling to see smiles and joy on their faces with your small help. Please take a moment to review their attached stories.

A big thank you to the 86+ donors spanning across 3+ countries. Also special mention to the Fundly team, Medtronic Santa Rosa & multiple Corporate Sponsors, North Bay Indo American Association (NBIAA), Paradise Adopt a Family Group (PFAAF) and the KutchValley Group for their tremendous support.

Again a Big Thank you for all your support as we officially close this campaign.

Thank you,

More Info

Hello, this is Romil Rambhia and Mithun Vora again. We are representing the North Bay Indo-American Association (NBIAA) which is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization (tax id: 61-1737522).

We are two friends who have deep roots in Northern California (Bay Area). Last year in October 2017, our town and county was devastated by the Tubbs fire. It's been a year since the fires, a year since the start of our small campaign and a year of great loss but also of great giving.  With all your kind support and love (240+ donors spanning across 5+ countries) we were able to raise over $130,000 and help 41 families affected by the Sonoma, Napa, Lake County and Shasta fires.

Unfortunately, the nightmare was repeated this year. On November 8th, 2018 the Camp Fire in the Butte County north of Sacramento razed the town of Paradise leaving 9000+ homes destroyed and 70+ dead with several still missing.

With this repeat campaign, we will be looking to help families who having lost their homes are truly in need of support (low income, single parent, no or limited insurance, 3+ kids, health issues or death etc). We will select families with references established via our Bay Area social networks.

We hope to raise $30,000 to help 10 families with $3,000 each. Together Romil and I have donated the first $1,000 ourselves to kickstart this effort. Any amount is appreciated. Please help these suffering families to come back on their feet again.

Thank you,

Romil and Mithun
