October is Dyslexia Awareness Month! With your help we will increase the number of schools that have Dyslexia Awareness bulletin boards in October.
Decoding Dyslexia Oregon is a non-profit and part of a national grassroots movement to raise dyslexia awareness, empower families to support their children, and improve resources for students with dyslexia and educators in public schools.
To expand on previous efforts to increase dyslexia awareness in schools, we want to have bulletin boards (banner size) professionally designed and printed for easy installation! We are excited that these bulletin boards will be easily mailed to all corners of the state to spread awareness.
Our objectives are to: inform, provide resources, and hopefully make students feel more represented and less ashamed. We hope this campaign will open conversations and normalize this learning difference.
The total cost for each bulletin board is $25. We need your help to make this happen! Please support this campaign by contributing to fund mailing, printing or design costs. With your help we can create change for our 1 in 5 with dyslexia.
Let's do this together!
