More Info

We are a licensed, in-home daycare called Quality Day Care; started roughly 25 years ago in Kansas City, Missouri. From our midtown location, we have provided childcare for more than 100 children since our doors first opened back in 1992.

We are a family oriented and operated daycare and we seek to meet the growing needs of our community by constructing a unique / full-service learning and development campus called Quality Day Learning and Development Campus-(QDLDC).

A mixed-use / childcare, preschool and after school campus to benefit and serve more than 900 inner-city / underserved / infants, toddlers, preschool and after school / school age children between 0 to 15 years old.

We live, work and play in our community that contains more than 30,000 underserved and potentially at-risk children that need affordable and accessible childcare, learning / developmental and after school / care programs and services that give children a safe haven for creative, emotional and artistical / outlet and expression. QDLDC will provide that caring, instructive, supportive and nurturing environment—in which to instill confidence, build character, bring out talents and above all; bring hope--to the many underserved children that lack opportunity or access for achieving or reaching their developmental potential .

Our proposed / QDLDC campus will occupy a city block area and provide almost 200,000 square feet of indoor / outdoor / recreation, creative learning and artistic expression space—year / round; seven days a week.

The new / multipurpose facility would consist of:

· 50,000 square foot child / daycare campus

· 30,000 square foot preschool campus. And.

· 20,000 square foot Community Campus Center for school age children, preteens and teens.

· 60,000 square feet of outdoor recreation and park space. And.

· 30,000 square feet of off-street parking- (surface) for 100 cars.

QDLDC would provide:

· Enrollment for 500 children for daycare ages 0-3 years old

· Enrollment for 250 preschool children: Ages 4 to 5 years old

· Enrollment for 150 after school / school age children, preteens and teens-(up to 15 years old).

QDLDC will create more than $50 million dollars in new / inner-city / development—and between 100 to 200 full-time jobs-(non-construction).

Childcare, preschool, arts and crafts, computer technology, performing arts and much more. The plan is to acquire, raze, prep and construct the QDLDC campus on the entire city-block / site where we currently operate our in-home / licensed daycare.

Planning and project management will be done on an in-house basis—from funding. We foresee several of these campuses being constructed within our community and beyond.

Hopefully, serving as both a “new blueprint and catalyst” for creating child / learning and development environments--in both urban and rural / underserved areas.
