I'm raising money to help pay for my rescue dog's surgery. Her spleen has shown an extensive mass that needs to be removed, along with 3 mass cell tumors on her right side of the body.
We adopted Buddha about 7 years ago from Angel City Pit Bulls and she has taught us so much about being dog parents. Upon adoption, she was the third dog to enter our lives and we knew nothing about what it meant to raise a pack. She had behavioral issues that we never gave up on and the rescue stepped in to help us transition her into our family successfully. Since then, we have paid it forward by volunteering our time to various rescues in Southern California. Buddha brings a smile to anyone's face that she meets in public and she has changed so many people's perspective on the PitBull breed with her sweet kisses and willingness to do anything for a treat.
Throughout the years she has endured various MCT (Mast Cell Tumor) removals but this go-round, she needs a little more help than we anticipated financially. Her recent blood work showed changes in her protein enzymes as well as an increase in her globulin & albumin levels, which lead us to further examine her with an abdominal ultrasound. Unfortunately, the results showed a mass on her spleen along with nodules that they will need to biopsy on her adrenal gland and liver. The total cost of her surgery to remove her spleen along with MCT's on three different sites on the right side of her body are just under $9k. We are humbly asking anyone who would like to donate towards her surgery to help her live a more comfortable life as well as continue to welcome foster we bring into the home.
We thank you all for your generosity, time, and efforts towards giving our girl a comfortable life. On behalf of Buddha and our pack, we are forever grateful for your contribution.
