On Sat August 1st on interstate 84 Bruce Peters was doing what he loved, doing the one thing he had ever known, being the essential truck driver he always was, he completely understood trucker's drive much more than freight they drive the economy and he took complete pride in that. That beautiful Peterbilt never made it to mile-marker 90 when the unthinkable tragedy struck. Bruce tragically lost his life. His life embodies his Lord & Savior, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefor we will not fear, through the earth gave way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea."
Bruce was only 47 years old, he leaves behind his incredibly courageous family. Bruce was a dear friend and a colleague too many. He was the most Loyal son anyone could ever ask for, a devoted friend, a loving brother, and of course the most ornery uncle imaginable! Bruce was loved by everyone that knew him. He will be terrible missed. Bruce had tremendous passion and dedication for many things in life. His love for speed, cars, food, good ol classic movies and of course riding his beloved Harley. He greeted everyone with a smile that could light up a room. His contagious laugh and sense of humor was equally as potent. As Bruces family we would like to take a minute and say thank you to everyone who has shown support for Bruce. The outpour of prayers, emails, texts is completely humbling. Your support has been a great source of comfort and is appreciated more than we can ever express. All donations will go towards Bruces life expenses. Thanks again!
