I am raising funds to reunite with my three fur babies that I was forced leave due to a sudden denial to renew my visa in China. The funds will be used to pay for all necessary preparations, documents, and travel.
In March of this year, I fell victim to an alarmingly more and more common trend of people suddenly, and without clear reason, being denied visa renewal in China. As I had already lived in China for six years, I never thought it would happen to me, but it did. I was given a week and a half to pack up six years’ worth of life and leave. I tried to fight the decision, but to no avail. It was an unbelievably stressful and painful time mentally, emotionally, and financially.
I had to leave behind so much, but what hurts my heart the most is being separated from my three fur babies. I did not have the time or the funds to even begin the strict and difficult-to-navigate export process. So, they are currently staying with an amazing foster still in China.
I have thought about my babies every day since I was forced to leave. I miss them so much. Without them, my mental health has started to decline. I’m working hard to try and save up funds to bring them home to me. However, it’s just not enough.
I truly appreciate any support you could give to help me reunite with my babies: Toby, Sophie, and Lorie.
