The funds raised will aid in the search and rescue efforts of Janice Burris-Northcross who has been missing in the Red River since February 8, 2014.
Janice Burris-Northcross, wife of Eddie Northcross and mother to two children, has been missing in the Red River since February 8, 2014 after being involved in an auto-accident during the ice storm that hit Southwest Arkansas. Janice and a co-worker ended up in the Red River after an 18-wheeler collided with wrecked vehicles on a bridge. The co-worker was able to get to the bank and had injuries but was later released from the hospital and Janice's sister sustained injuries but is now home as well. Janice has unfortunately yet to be found although a few of her personal belongings were found in the river. Various local and state officials have aided in the search and rescue efforts to no avail. The search has been officially called off by the local Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Miller County Sheriff's Office. However, Eddie and his family and friends are still hopeful and have chosen to continue with these efforts. Eddie, along with other family and friends have been at the river on a daily basis in hopes of finding Janice. Our goal with this campaign is to help Eddie on a monetary basis as he is away from work searching for his wife. The monies raised will be placed in a secured WePay account through this website and will go toward the household living expenses and any out-of-pocket expenses necessary for the search and rescue efforts for Janice. The family is reaching out for any and all those who can assist with the search. All efforts are greatly appreciated. The point of contact for these efforts is Denise King (903) 733-1797.
