Brandon’s Road to Recovery

Brandon’s Road to Recovery

From Brittany Garcia

Brandon has a long road ahead of him. We don't want them to struggle financially, and want him to focus on recovery. Any little bit helps, even your support, prayers, and words of encouragement.

Wow, I am amazed at the outpouring of Love and support from all of you!
Brandon is doing good, each day is a challenge and he is kicking butt! He has an amazing team at Craig that consists of Doctors, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and so many more. This team is working hard at getting Brandon to where he needs to be, but most importantly Brandon is pushing hard and exceeding his limits every day! He is determined to walk again and be able to live his life to the fullest, with his wife and kids by his side. No matter what, he has a great support system who are cheering him on and are hopeful for the future.
Thank you for being with us on this journey, I know it means so much to my brother and his family. Keep up the good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes.

More Info

Hello, if any one of you know my brother, you know who he is.... a stubborn son of a gun!!

Brandon was a passenger in a rollover accident on Saturday 4/3/2021

He was taken to a hospital in Wyoming where they did cat scans and realized they needed a bigger hospital that specializes in injuries like his. He was life flighted to Denver, Swedish Medical Center, where he had more tests and an MRI. He underwent emergency surgery to correct his C3 and C4. During this time we were all unaware of what this meant for his future, but Brandon is a fighter. The surgery went well and he is recovering in the ICU.  He is fighting to regain movement of his body.... as of right now he is paralyzed. We are hoping that he can overcome these obstacles and get through the hard days.  Brandon has a very long road to recovery, he is expected to be transferred to one of the best Rehab facilities in Denver.  Here, he will have extensive PT.  Right now they are taking it day by day, and trying to keep him in good spirits and surrounding him with love and support. Meagan, his wife, has been by his side the whole time.

Brandon and his wife Meagan are expecting a baby in August 2021. This will be Brandons first biological child, however; he is a stepdad to their girls Zoey and Peyton! They mean the world to him, he has created a life he loves with his wife and kids, and is excited to welcome a new member to the family.

My brother works hard to keep his family safe, and well taken care of. He is the sole provider for his family. Right now he can’t do anything more then lay in bed and wonder what his future holds, I know it’s not much but we are asking for help to fund his expenses as he learns to navigate life again in the best way he knows how. Whatever that may be, we want him to know how much love and support he has surrounding him and his family.

Thank you for all of your support, prayers, and healing. It really means so much to our family.

Update #1

First and foremost i would like to say thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't express how much this means to my family. Really I'm just here to get the word out about my brother and help him and his family as much as i can during this truly difficult time. And you all are the ones helping me do just that!!
Brandon is out of the ICU and waiting to hear when he is able to be transferred to Craig Rehab. He is no longer connected to any monitors and isn't requiring oxygen. He is doing about an hour of PT and OT each day. He has some movement in his left leg and also his left hand and arm. On his right side there is not much movement in his leg, however the muscles are contracting. He has very small movement in his right arm and hand. He is a fighter and each day brings on new challenges. I can't imagine what he is going through, but i do know that all of you are helping tremendously on his road to recovery. Thank you!!!
