Books for Humanity is a group of individuals who have come together to form a non-profit organization. The Books for Humanity team has processed and sold books for non-profits in the past and through our experiences we have developed the vision for this organization. Thus, we are creating Books for Humanity in an effort to further our commitments to social causes and doing good. We are located in the South Shore region of Massachusetts and are currently in the process of filing all of our paperwork with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Our main goal, or mission, is to collect books and donations in order to raise money for different social causes. Currently we are focusing our efforts on establishing our non-profit. In doing so, we seek to collect as many books as possible - the more books we collect, the more charity we can provide. During this developmental stage we will be donating a portion of our proceeds to help fight hunger in the South Shore region. Our "Books for the Hungry" campaign will be contributing towards the purchase of a delivery truck for Damien's Place Food Pantry in East Wareham, MA. Damien's Place feeds 600-700 families a week and is in need of a new truck to improve their fight against hunger.
