They wait, these homebound seniors, for lunch, and a little companionship.  In many cases, the only sustenance and contact with others they receive each day is from WCCA/Meals On Wheels Wise County.  

John is one of the many stories we have to share from across the County.  And we should share them, because they will speak to your heart.  

This decorated Veteran, John, makes a habit of sitting outside with his American Flag waiting for our Hero Volunteer Driver to come to his home and deliver a fresh, hot and nutritious meal.  He's waiting patiently.

But this picture is being challenged like never before.

Because of the inflation we are all experiencing the vital services of WCCA/Meals On Wheels Wise County are in jeopardy. Friends of Wise County Seniors...THIS CANNOT STAND.

John relates to us that he depends so much on our home delivery, as-well-as the personal contact he enjoys with our Meals On Wheels Hero Volunteer Driver.  

The bottom line is that we MUST have additional funds to make sure that Hero Volunteer Drivers, and others, receive the support they need to continue their hot-meal home delivery routes.  And that the inflationary cost of food, and other resources needed to fulfil our vital mission be offset and covered by your regular MONTHLY recurring, or other one-time gift of any amount, which will help us meet our campaign goal, and beyond.  We are depending on your wonderful generosity.

So, friends, the question is, will we continue to provide these vital services to our wonderful Wise County Seniors?  Only if you will help.
