A dear friend and brother in Christ recently passed away at the young age of 27. I would love to honor his memory by attending his Celebration of Life. His parents asked that I speak there, but I can't afford the trip.
Jeremiah Blomberg was the truest of friends and a wonderful brother in Christ. He was taken from us on September 7, 2019 due to heart complications at the young age of 27. I met Jeremiah when I was 19 living in Fort Collins, CO. I had never met someone who could always bring such joy and light to even the darkest of situations. I was struggling with my faith at the time and had no real direction. Jeremiah was always by my side speaking truth into my life and helping me smile through all the pain I was suffering through at that time. He showed me what a real Christian looked like. He taught me, through his life, that the hypocrites will always be there and the only thing you can do is smile through it. I credit Jeremiah with supporting my walk with Christ and saving my life on multiple occasions. He invited me into his home when I had no place to live. He helped me keep focused on Christ when things got hard. We had grown apart over the last few years, but he will always be my brother. Jeremiah's parents have asked that I speak at the ceremony in honor of my brother, Jeremiah.
Please help me get back to Fort Collins, CO for the Celebration of Life Ceremony on Saturday Sept 14, 2019. I can not afford the trip myself. Any leftover funds not used on travel will be going towards his family/ the celebration.
