This time is dedicated to giving back to the servicemen and servicewomen in our community by gifting them with essential kits made up of necessary items such as cleaning, laundry and kitchen supplies.
About one-third of the homeless population is made up of veterans and many more struggle to have their basic needs met. This event brings together volunteers to sort through donations and also create hygiene packs and lunches to distribute to displaced individuals located in downtown Houston.
We are in need of $10,000 to meet this goal.
