I went on my first ski trip when I was 10. While riding the ski lift, I thought about the triple dog dare scene with Flick from a Christmas Story. My curiosity got the best of me, so I challenged the metal lap bar to debunk the myth. After an emergency ski lift stop, a cup of water, and a ski patrol escort off the mountain, I can safely report that the urban legend is an urban fact.
