Steve "Bizz" Byrnes

Steve, as we all know, is a great friend and person. Steve was in Boston near the finish line the day of the Boston Marathon bombing. He suffered burns, a ruptured ear drum which resulted in a loss of hearing from his right ear, and shrapnel wounds.

Let's all pull together to give Steve some support in this tough time! He has a long road ahead of him, but we all know hes one tough person!

"The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it"

UPDATE :  Watch Steve on Anderson Cooper

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjIepaIl6XA&feature=youtu.be

UPDATE : Steve is doing well, and in great spirits. He thanks everyone who has contributed to his recovery! He is overwhelmed by the support and outreach, and can't speak enough about how good he has it with such a strong support system! Thanks so much everyone!!

UPDATE: Steve was honored at the Red Sox game today, and threw out the first pitch!

UPDATE: Steve's wounds have become infected. He has been recieving IV antibiotics twice a day, and readmitted to the hospital for a couple of days. : (
