Did you know that it is still legal to hit school children?
Texas's River Road ISD is the latest in districts voting to approve the hitting of Children. They are quoted as explaining their decision, saying "The modifications to the RRISD Student Code of Conduct come after the rise in requests from parents. "
The problem is that hitting kids is inversely-correlated with educational attainment and wages. We trust our schools to educate students, not to continue cycles of abuse and poverty.
Children, if anyone hits you they are uninformed. Show them this website, and ask them to read the research. If they refuse, tell your neighbors and tell your friends about their conduct.
