There are many African American women silently suffering domestic violence. In the past 4 months I have had the pleasure to meet and offer legal assistance to a few courageous women who made the decision to live without abuse. These women have to leave everything in order to not only stay alive but in many cases keep their children alive. This causes financial hardship and many women stay due to financial bondage. There are also costs associated with legal representation such as filing fees, costs to enforce orders such as child support or divorce decrees. The Christmas season is upon us and this is the season of joy, peace, happiness and miracles. Help me bring joy to some families.
