The Humboldt Bay Firefighters are proud to announce we will be hosting our seventh annual dog-friendly 5k Walk/Run on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at 10am. The event will take place in Sequoia Park and will benefit a local non-profit animal charity. We plan on supporting a different animal charity each year. This year we have selected California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA). They work to train dogs for search and rescue applications all over California. It is our goal to raise money for this organization through business sponsors, donations, and race participants. All proceeds will be donated directly to the benefiting animal charity. We ask that your business take part in our endeavor to promote community involvement, healthy lifestyles, and helping animals here in Humboldt County!
