The money raised will go towards my sister's, Chana Pechenik, seminary tuition and plane tickets. With G-d's help, let’s help her continue her Jewish learning!
Chana is a spiritual, kind, intelligent, and strong, Jewish leader. From a young age, she decided that she wanted to immerse herself into an orthodox Jewish environment. As soon as she graduated middle school, she began to attend a Chabad (sect of orthodox Judaism that follows the Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson's, teachings) high school, called Bader Hillel High, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, this meant that Chana had to live away from her family, who resides in Atlanta, Georgia. For her, there was nothing more important than growing in her Judaism and her relationship with G-d. In Chana's time at Hillel High, she has grown into an inspiring and spiritual young lady. She has learned immense amounts of Torah, from the text, and has implemented it into her daily life. She has become completely orthodox Chabad in her observance and her goal is to one day be a shluchah (partake in outreach), and spread the teachings of the torah, that has inspired her so much, to every Jew. To reach this goal, the next part in Chana's journey is to attend a Chabad seminary. Baruch Hashem (thank G-d), Chana has recently been accepted to her dream seminary, Bais Chana, in Tzfat (Safed) Israel! The only downside is that it is extremely expensive, and does not offer any financial aid to those who attend. On top of this, her family is not in a place financially to help her with the tuition. The tuition, without fees, is $18,000, and a plane ticket to Israel is very expensive. Please donate whatever you can to help Chana attend her dream seminary. Share this fundraiser on your social media, and with your friends, family, and community. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is truly appreciated. There is no one who deserves this opportunity more than Chana. Let us all help her in this new and exciting stage in her life!
