From Ava Winn

I'm raising funds for my college education in the Miss Top Teen contest. The Teen who raises the most funds for their scholarship wins the title of Miss. Top Teen. I'm soliciting your support in claiming the 2024 title.

More Info

Thank you for supporting my Miss Top Teens Scholarship Fund. I am a vivacious 12th grade student at The Kinkaid School, where I work hard to thrive academically, in athletics, and in the arts. I serve as the Inaugural President of the Student Diversity Leadership Board as well as the African American Appreciation Club President. I play midfield/forward on the Varsity Field Hockey team and serve as the Team Manager for the Varsity Boys Basketball team. I am also a Peer Mentor, Admissions Ambassador, and Senior Ad Manager on The Kinkaidian Yearbook Staff.

Outside of school, I am a Girl Scout and proud recent recipient of the Gold Award, the highest award in scouting. My membership in Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is also a point of pride as I have the privilege of serving as Foundation Chair. I am a social justice advocate and a proud Bronze Life Member of the NAACP-Houston Branch. My spiritual growth is attributed to my lifelong membership at Brentwood Baptist Church, where I was baptized in 2017. I serve as the Youth Council President as well as in other ministries. To relax, I enjoy yoga, outdoor walks in my neighborhood, and traveling.

My college pursuits include plans to attend a four-year institution to major in Political Science and to minor in Spanish as I prepare for a career in law and public policy. Your support means a lot to me. Thank YOU in advance for helping me to realize my goals!
