The Arvada High Marching Band needs help raising money to fund their 2020-2021 season! Due to funding for the program being cut they need help from the community to make sure they can continue compete!! Any amount helps!
The Arvada High School Marching Band has struggled for years to keep up with other competitive marching bands. Arvada High School is a small school, made up of just over 800 students, most of which are low income. Due to low school numbers and an inability for most students to afford the band program the number of students able to participate in marching band is very low. However, this has not stopped them from being what we like to call "small but mighty". In the past 3 years the marching band has grown, not in size but in their playing and marching ability. In 2018 and 2019 they went to state for the first time in several years. They have also received numerous awards in the past 3 years they have competed. The marching band students are very hard working, talented, and dedicated. It is made up of some of the highest achieving students in the school and they often go unrecognized and underappreciated by the administration. They do not receive the same funding that other schools in the district receive for their programs. These kids deserve the same quality program as their peers, let's help them get that!
*Due to the current world situation all fundraising efforts for many school programs has been cancelled or postponed. In order to ensure that these programs will continue next year we need help online fundraising in place of our regular fundraising!*
