Art Sale to Pay City Taxes to keep Family Home

From Alicia Dianne

I'm raising money to pay the city taxes owed on my parents house who both passed away. The city of Scranton wants $1500 by mid July or they will be taking my family home. I am selling original art to help raise the money

More Info

I have been in a long process of trying to keep my family home for the past 3 years after my dad died. He owed allot of money when he died including debts to the City of Scranton, which are now due again mid July. The money raised from these artworks will go to pay the City of Scranton to prevent them from taking my dad's house.

If the city ends up taking my family house it would be years of struggle all for nothing and I would be in debt to a lawyer for probate fees of $5000 on top of not being able to have the opportunity to sell the house if that's what is going to happen.

My dad struggled with severe medical trauma before he died which left him unable to walk to keep up with bills and life in general. He was a very talented film maker, movie producer, screen writer and photographer.
