The store run by Ari Kirtchuk has been looted. This money is essential to helping him and his business get through this tough economic time. Donate here or Venmo @Alexandra-Kirtchuk. Please share with your communities!
Ari is a part of a unique community in NYC - corporate mom and pop shops. He is known in Park Slope as a modern-day coffee shop in which he greets each customer with a kind smile and open arms as they come in to get their phone fixed while making conversation with the diverse personalities of Brooklyn. During a time in which he needs to work the most, his store was looted by a group separate from protestors who were taking advantage of the unrest in the city to pray on small businesses. Knowing Ari, he would be too proud to ask people himself to help his business out, but he has worked too hard, for too long, and has always welcomed all people without hesitation to not deserve a break himself. I'm asking for anyone to donate as much as they can during this time for the community to give back to him what he has sacrificed 15 years giving to them.
Here is a beautiful article written by Amy Sohn to give you a better idea as to who you're giving the money to: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/06/nyregion/quirks-and-gossip-in-a-corporate-cellphone-branch.html
