Update #4

An update for May 6, 2017.

The center is up and running! The project you've known as Ray of Hope is now the Integral Education and Therapy Center (IETC). Funding from the US, Singapore and UK has been sufficient to meet most of the main building costs and the centre was useable as of March 2017.

However, we need more funding to finish the project:
- Completing the landscaping and interior finishing.
- Completing structures needed for a sensory rich interactive play environment playground.(vital for the development of children with mental and physical challenges.)
- Teaching and audiovisual materials and equipment
- Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy equipment
- Furniture for every room - storage units, desks, chairs, mats, etc
-Wheelchairs

Thank you for your donations so far. If you know anyone else who may wish to contribute, please let us know!

Update #3

Great News! A Ray of Hope is now a reality! A vision now manifested. On March 15, 2017 (also World Disability Day) the new Integral Education and Therapy Centre (IETC) was inaugurated with a Hindu ceremony and Catholic blessings. Construction is now finished enough to use the building, so we moved 75 children into the new center! The 13,000 square foot, including a hydrotherapy pool, is now up and running. We plan on doing an official opening towards the end of 2017. More information to come.

Update #2

I'm pleased to report that progress on the building is on schedule! This is all due to your generous contributions. The building is scheduled to be completed this fall, but we need to raise another $50,000 for all of the therapy equipment. I am working diligently to make this happen. Thankfully the Rotary Club of England has generously donated the money for the aquatic therapy pool!

Update #1

Exciting new developments:

In February of 2015 the architectural firm Gayathri & Namith Architects from Bangalore India has joined A Ray of Hope Project. They are designing a special needs school and therapy facility and executing the building project. We are blessed that they are generously donating their design expertise to create the best environment for disabled children. Their website is www.gnarchitects.com
