As the pandemic has shown, disparities in food security and healthcare are rampant. TKP serves those who are struggling with a health issue and are low-income.
I strive to help people feel less alone in their suffering through food and human connection. I hope to continue providing valuable opportunities to youth, learning more about cooking and the internal benefits of community connection. I am the Founder and Executive Director of Teen Kitchen Project.
Please make a special year-end gift to support providing home-delivered meals for someone in crisis due to illness.
This year’s COVID pandemic means that those who have a critical or chronic illness are facing additional stress by needing to go to the store to shop for ingredients for fear of contracting COVID.
The good news is that you can help!
Will you please make a year-end gift by midnight, December 31 to help one person struggling with illness receive a delivered meal?
Your gift will help one person struggling with illness support by providing a bag of prepared meals delivered to their door.
It’s urgent that you give before the end of the year. If a meal delivery client doesn’t receive the help they need in time, then they could face additional challenges with their healing which may send them back to the hospital. We don’t want that to happen, and neither do you.
But your gift will allow deliveries to continue! And your gift will support all the work of Teen Kitchen Project.
"The meals are absolutely awesome! Since you took me on my health has improved with the freshly prepared food so lovingly prepared and generously delivered. "- Teen Kitchen Project Client.
